How Do I Rent a Stork Sign Delivery in Maryland? I would like to send a unique baby gift to help the new parents celebrand and annouce a newborns arrival to the world

Our Flying Storks~Maryland Stork Sign rentals are $99 and include a personalized bundle for parents to keep. We will deliver a 6 foot stork sign and place in yard of new parents for (7) days. Flying Storks strives to arrive before mom comes home from the hospital, so let us know when mom and baby will be discharged. Our adorable 6 ft stork and personalized keepsake bundle will announce the BIG news for (7) days. Upon removal of the stork, the parents will be left with the personalized bundle to treasure forever. Surprise your loved one with this memorable gift!

Reserve your Flying Stork lawn sign in advance or place your order at least 24 hours ahead of expected delivery of new born baby announcement. When you have the spelling of the baby’s first and middle name, weight, length and date of birth. Also please have the delivery address, phone number, and any special delivery instructions included in notes.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery is included in all of Frederick County and Montgomery County, Maryland.
*We are often able to accommodate rentals that are greater distance for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.

When will the Stork be delivered and picked up?

We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We will always strive to arrive before mom comes home from the hospital. The standard rental period is (7) days. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of when you would like the Stork Announcement’s delivery.

Does someone need to be home when the stork is delivered?

There is no need for someone to be home for the stork to be delivered. If there is a special area you would like us to place the stork lease notify us during the reservation process. Also, please advise us of any special instruction for delivery. We will leave a note for the family with your message.

Do you offer sibling signs?

Yes, we offer sibling star signs. The signs will be displayed next to the stork. The proud big brother(s) and sister(s) enjoy feeling included in this special time, and they especially love seeing their name displayed on the front lawn. The following options are available for sibling signs:
(Name) is a proud big brother/sister!
(Name) is promoted to big brother/sister!
(Name) welcomes home Baby (Name)!

What service do you offer for multiple births?

We normally set up a separate sign for each baby. The first sign is priced at the regular rate. Each subsequent sign is rented at a discount. Please refer to our ‘Pricing’ page. At the end of the rental period the new parents or grandparents will keep each personalized bundle.

What service do you offer for the happy Grandparents?

If a grandparents’ sign is ordered at the same time as the sign for the new parents, the rental price is at a 50% discount. The grandparents’ bundle will state “It’s A Grandson!” or “It’s A Granddaughter!” and is not kept after the rental. If the grandparents would prefer a personalized bundle, which includes the baby’s name and/or birth information there is an additional charge of $20.00. They keep it at the end of the rental period.

How does the Baby Shower rental work?

Our rental for a Baby Shower is available in two ways. The 1 day rental will include a bundle that can read “It’s a (Girl/Boy)!” or “The Shower is Here!” The second option is to personalize the package for an additional fee, refer to our ‘Pricing’ page. This includes a bundle for the mommy-to-be to keep. The following options are available for the custom bundle:
“Welcome to (Mother’s Name) Baby Shower”
“(Mother’s Name) is Having a (Girl/Boy)”
“Showering (Mother’s Name) with Love”

This would be the perfect time to get the mommy-to-be a gift certificate for a Welcome Home Baby package. Flying Storks will make our delivery after the baby is born, before mom comes home from the hospital. The personalized bundles would be a great addition to the nursery and something the parents will treasure forever
**If a client rents a stork to display at a baby shower or gender reveal, and decides to use our services again to announce the birth of their baby, a $20 dollar discount will be applied to their (7) day stork rental

What do you do for a Gender Reveal party?

Finding out the gender of the baby is such an exciting time. Why not make it more memorable by having Flying Storks announce the news in front of all your family and friends! This can be done in two ways. If you know the gender of the baby and want to make the announcement in a BIG way, you can give us a call to reserve our gender neutral stork that includes a wrapped bundle that reads “Jump for joy, it’s a boy”, or “a giggle, a curl, it’s a sweet baby girl”. Party guests will find out what the baby will be once the parents-to-be unveil the bundle.

What if the Gender of the baby is a surprise?

Have the Dr. write down the baby’s gender, put it in a sealed envelope and send it to Flying Storks. Just like a baby shower, we will deliver the stork the day of the party, the bundle will be hidden until it is unveiled. We pick up the Flying Stork after the party. The bundle can be personalized for an additional fee, refer to our ‘Pricing’ page.

How do your Gift Certificates work?

A gift certificate would be a great gift for the parents-to-be. Once the baby is born, mom or dad can give us a call with the new baby’s information, delivery address and phone number. We can strive to deliver the stork within 24 hours of their call to announce the news to all their friends and neighbors.

For a Flying Stork Baby Shower or Gender reveal, a two week pre-order is a good idea.
